Start by forming the meat into 8 patties. Mix the seasonings together and sprinkle liberally over both side of the patties.
Next, preheat your cast iron to med/high heat. Let it get really hot! Maybe 3-5 minutes
Place your patties in the pan and leave them! Cook for about 4-6 minutes on the first side. Flip and cook another 3 minutes. Top with cheese and cover to melt.
Toast the buns in a dry skillet for a few minutes. Add the perfectly cooked patty, lots of burger sauce and any other toppings you'd like. Plate and serve!
