Crock Pot Pulled Pork

I really don’t use the crock pot enough and I really should start! It’s just so simple and always turns out tasty! I I made delicious tacos with this and next time I will be making some BBQ sandwiches and nachos! Try this out for game day. I promise you won’t regret it!! 🙂
Ingredients
- 1 3-5 lb pork shoulder (bone in or out)
- 2 cups apple juice
- 2 cups apple juice
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- Most of the spice rub (recipe below)
Spice Rub:
- 2 tbsp salt
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp pepper
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tbsp cumin
- 1/2 tbsp celery seed
- 1/2 tbsp coriander
- 1 tsp cayenne
Directions
1. Cut pork shoulder into large chunks and place in crock pot (You can ask butcher to cut it for you. Also, you can cook it whole if you have more time!)
2. Pat dry and coat liberally with spice rub.
3. Pour in apple juice and apple cider vinegar.
4. Cover and cook on high for 6-8 hours.
5. Use two forks to pull pork apart.
6. Serve as tacos, BBQ sandwiches or topped on BBQ nachos! ENJOY!
Serves 4-6 people!
