This salad is one of my favorite summer side dishes! It takes no effort and grilling it totally elevates the salad from boring to fabulous! The charred taste really gives it a completely different dynamic and you can top it with whatever you like! I really want to try this with some buffalo chicken and some blue cheese!! This one is topped with blue cheese crumbles, ranch dressing, green onions, croutons and bacon! YUM YUM!
Method: Take 2 heads of romaine lettuce and cut them in half leaving the core in tact. Place directly on the grill for about 3-4 minutes. Once charred to your liking sprinkle with salt and pepper and garnish with toppings!
